Ya, I had the same thought. Thanksgiving is earlier this year, and w/ Sandy, new Skype format, etc. it would be amazing to still hear back today.JedBartlett wrote:This is all making me pretty nervous; I'm not gonna lie.weareyoung16 wrote:Last year the first KB2 was posted right after 11am.....
At the same time, I have a sinking suspicion that, if accepted, we won't be hearing until tomorrow or Wednesday. The turnaround for today just seems too fast.

During my JS1, Karen said the first decisions would come out the week of Thanksgiving so pretty sure. But then again, who really knows with these things!JedBartlett wrote:How certain are people that the first JS2s will come out before Thanksgiving?hopeful16 wrote:yea congrats! looks like more interviews were added for Tuesday, November 27th, but none for this week. so hopefully the JS2s will come tomorrow...ScratchableItch wrote:Oh

It would be nice for somebody with less then stellar numbers to get a JS1 one of these days (I'll volunteer), just to show that it is possible

With the fall in Harvard's 75th percentiles I have to think people with our numbers stand a good shot this year, but it makes sense that we'll be hearing later rather than sooner. Still nerve-wracking thoughWhiteyCakes wrote:It would be nice for somebody with less then stellar numbers to get a JS1 one of these days (I'll volunteer), just to show that it is possible

Yep, just waiting for them to run out of scores in my range and relax that GPA floor.Yukos wrote:With the fall in Harvard's 75th percentiles I have to think people with our numbers stand a good shot this year, but it makes sense that we'll be hearing later rather than sooner. Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I have used TLS for a while, but I just made this account today because I saw this thread for the first time and was impatient myself about the second call.
My numbers: 4.03/176
I got the first call on a Thursday weeks ago, but I can't remember the exact date. I am definitely going to attend Harvard over any other school IF I get in, so I've been checking this thread, my e-mail, and my phone like every two minutes today...............
Will post if I get the second call. Good luck all.

I wonder how many JS1 invites have gone out...they mentioned about 1200 interviews this year right? Is it safe to assume 1/2 have been issued? More?

Way less I think. Didn't someone do some back-of-the-envelope math and get something like 200-300 JS1s so far?WhiteyCakes wrote:I wonder how many JS1 invites have gone out...they mentioned about 1200 interviews this year right? Is it safe to assume 1/2 have been issued? More?

Lol, saw this coming. In my defense, I did say I wasn't 100% sure. I figured there was a chance we'd see JS1s instead of JS2s.elterrible78 wrote:Congrats on the new JS1(s?)risa wrote:#s?ScratchableItch wrote:Oh

Sincerely hoping you're right. I haven't even gone complete yet, so the idea of half the JS1s already being finished is horrifying.Yukos wrote:Way less I think. Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Don't worry. There's no way there have been 600 interviews in just two weeks. At most, I think there were 6 interview days. That would be 100 a day or 50 each for JS and KB. Since each interview is 20 minutes, that would mean each was interviewing for about 16 hours a day. Needless to say, that didn't happen.sabanist wrote:Sincerely hoping you're right. Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Agree. More realistic to think in terms of 3/hr per interviewer...for about 8 hrs/day. That would be 48/day....round it up to 50 and we're sitting at 300.Lavitz wrote:Don't worry.
