In a few hours ago! Submitted 11/13, right around the medians. No "Why Duke," but a diversity statement. My very first very own law school acceptance.

My LSAC report was sent on November 19th, but I still haven't received a confirmation e-mail from the admissions office (I applied PT as well).

Should I e-mail them to make sure everything is ok? Or is this lag normal... I applied to about 5 other schools on the same date and have heard from all of them.

That kind of surprised me given your GPA. You'll get in, but it might take longer than 10 days.

Folks, do we have a coherent idea of the role of Priority Reserve yet? Is it a temporary wait list for qualified, but not over-qualified, candidates who would likely be taken RD?

I visited Duke this week. Loved the law school and thought the campus was beautiful. Would really really like to get off priority reserve.

I was told by admissions that Priority Reserve applications are continuously reviewed during the admissions process while Waitlist applications don't get reviewed again until April after seat deposits start rolling in.

That is interesting. I wondered what the difference between PR and waitlist.

Are you planning on doing anything extra? Sending a Why Duke or LOCI?

I wanted to send in a why duke/loci but don't know how long I should wait.

When you go complete, does the status remain at Complete; Ready for Review, or does it change to Under Review at some point? I also made it to complete quickly, but have been sitting at RfR for the past two weeks.

ETA: Looks like there is an UR status. I wonder how long it usually takes to make it there.

I sent an email yesterday and they informed me they had sent an email on the 20th. That is the second email that has been lost from Duke. I asked them to change my primary email address so that I get the emails in the future. Strange. Anyways--I'm Complete; Ready for review!
