I'd love to be be a fly on the wall when the adcom makes their final decisions for us waitlisted folks in the boardroom.
I may need a straitjacket due to all this waitlist waiting. Just sayin'.

Yeah, so far the wait has been alright for me...but everyday after the seat deposit deadline last Friday, I'm getting more and more anxious. From what I've heard, they are planning to send out the first round of waitlist acceptances around May 1st. Hopefully they send them out sooner.pret wrote:I'd love to be be a fly on the wall when the adcom makes their final decisions for us waitlisted folks in the boardroom.

I'm guessing that they'll review the part-time and full-time waitlisters at different times. What do you think?
EDIT: Just saw on Maryland's website that they will be extending the application deadline to April 15th due to LSAC technical difficulties. Do you think this is bad news for waitlisted applicants??

This means more applicants and probably longer delay.

^This. Congrats. I have no clue what's holding me in review. I'm below your GPA, but have a 169.superjohnnnn wrote:below 25th GPA but above a 3.0daveaa wrote:Mind sharing your numbers? I went in review on the same day and the wait is killing me.superjohnnnn wrote:IN!

Re: Maryland Applicants c/o 2015
164 3.55 PR URM applied late, in review since 3/27 figured I would be an auto-admit since I am above the 75th LSAT and above the median for GPA plus I'm a URM
Why no acceptance for me? I really wanted to attend Maryland, and figured they would offer me a decent amount of cash. The 16th is Cardozo's deposit deadline, and I am going to hate throwing away $400 just for Maryland to admit me a week later.

Does anyone know how waitlisted applicants will be notified if they are accepted? Also, if you are accepted off the waitlist, how long will you have to make a decision? Some schools require you to make a commitment within 24 hours. Anyone know what MD's policy is?

You should be golden. Maryland is probably just taking their time getting through everything.2015JD wrote:164 3.55 PR URM applied late, in review since 3/27 figured I would be an auto-admit since I am above the 75th LSAT and above the median for GPA plus I'm a URM

With those numbers and URM status, why aren't you looking at more prestigious schools? You have a decent shot at the top-14.

Seems like lots of waitlisted people here. That doesn't make me hopeful for getting a spot off the waitlist!

In complete and total shock.
Above the 75th LSAT above median GPA, and they waitlist me.

Yeah, I expected an auto admit, too. I applied in late February, though...that will hurt us.2015JD wrote:wait listed

Based on lsn and posts here, it seems like they sent out a batch of waitlists for both full-time and part-time candidates. I hope we waitlisters have a good chance and that they aren't just handing out waitlists to anyone...

I don't think this is the case. Yesterday's decisions weren't waitlisted and I think they were most likely dings.

I'm pretty damn confused. I presumed I would be wait listed with the wait, but I didn't get anything from them today. Looks like they're going to keep me in limbo

I'm interested in swapping PSs/DVs/LOCIs with some of you other waitlisters out there.

This is for the pt program only. There are some solid rejections in here:ama004 wrote:Based on lsn and posts here, it seems like they sent out a batch of waitlists for both full-time and part-time candidates.
