Hopefully. My status date hasn't updated, though I did get confirmation that my app is in consideration... so who knows.
Now the letter from Mathiew Le said that he'd be calling people personally if they got admitted, and notifying everyone by the 18th... that seems to indicate to me that the full WL movement will occur by the 18th? As in you'll know one way or the other by then? Strikes me as a change from previous years where people were admitted all summer.

He doesn't say that people won't be admitted after the 18th. He just says he'll send an update to everyone by the 18th.BeatenHorse wrote:Hopefully. My status date hasn't updated, though I did get confirmation that my app is in consideration... so who knows.

I'd be thrilled to get off the WL... not sure if I'll still be thrilled when they tell me I'll be paying near sticker OOS instead of enjoying $$ from other competitive schools.

They are making progress on going through the WL, but I got a rejection unfortunately via email. Good luck to the rest of you!

ahhhhh! I'm glad I'm a TLSer, b/c I didn't receive any email notification. I called the admissions office and they said that I hadn't responded to a survey, and after further review hadn't actually received the most recent WL confirmation survey.
All is better now, we'll see what happens.

I got the email too. Kind of harsh to get rejected so soon from the WL.

Has anybody been accepted off the wait list yet? Any idea when we will hear something for those of us that are still on?

Word on the street is that UW has already received more seat deposits than spots available in the incoming class, which means waitlisted applicants will likely have to wait for some of those students to get off waitlists at other schools they would prefer to attend, thus opening up some spots for waitlisted applicants at UW. Basically, if you're waitlisted, you'll get to wait longer.

Did anybody else get Mathew's latest update? He says that they reached the school's target capacity, but there is still a short list. I'm still on, so thank god for that. I wonder how much movement we'll see this year...

I think I'll probably withdraw soon. I was really hoping for UW this year, but I have a near full-ride at UMN, so it'd be difficult to justify going there even if I got admitted. Good luck to all of you!

They are moving through the wait list and they are still accepting people. I got my acceptance email from Mathiew on the 17th. Good luck to everyone else and I look forward to seeing you in the fall. My stats were LSAT 163 GPA 3.94 and a MA in Public Policy.

You got an email? I thought Le mentioned something about calling students admitted from the wait list.wisbey wrote:They are moving through the wait list and they are still accepting people. I'm living in France right now. I think he tried to call me, but my phone directs people to my email. Normally they do call...I think. Good luck.randomwombat wrote:You got an email?
