Q: What is the lowest LSAT you will accept?
A: We do not have a set minimum. This year the lowest LSAT we accepted was in the low 140's. The median was a 163. Accepted applicants with lower LSAT scores tend to have higher GPAs and strong personal statements, letters of recommendation, and work experience/ evidence of leadership

Is anyone else having more difficulty trying to stay on task lately since deciding on a law school?

What's left to do? You've decided, you're in.... what's left before orientation?

I just am noticing I am having a lot harder time concentrating in my classes, since they seem worthless, for instance I'm currently in my senior Econ class, and I just have been surfing TLS for the past hour haha. Also, I have 1 App I am waiting on, I doubt they swayed from U of H, and I had completely forgotten about it, but then I noticed they updated my status last week so I am kind of eager to see what they decided haha.

Ah. Stay on task with everything outside of law school.
Oh yes. I've made the mistake of subscribing to all these threads and leaving my email open all day.
I'm not in school, but work is definitely suffering.

I think you may just be suffering from what most people suffer from in college - senioritis.zanzbar wrote:I just am noticing I am having a lot harder time concentrating in my classes, since they seem worthless, for instance I'm currently in my senior Econ class, and I just have been surfing TLS for the past hour haha. I work full-time, and I would agree that I am a bit distracted at the office (but I have yet to know if I have even been accepted). However, I am still managing to get everything done, and then some.

Not as bad as senioritis I got that in high school, and kind of skipped most of the last month of school.

I'm on TLS too much during class. I faintly hear my Civil War prof discussing hog hunting.zanzbar wrote:I just am noticing I am having a lot harder time concentrating in my classes, since they seem worthless, for instance I'm currently in my senior Econ class, and I just have been surfing TLS for the past hour haha. I'm applying to part time programs and have gotten into STCL but am waiting on UofH (top choice). Is anyone in the same boat? If so, how are you going to handle the logistics of applying for financial aid w/ STCL and paying the second deposit, etc? The clock is ticking louder and louder on this one and I’m getting pretty frustrated.

You should not be worried about anything, this is the reason that schools have a waitlist. If you get in somewhere better last minute all you lose is $300 ($100 first and $200 second deposit) and they call someone up from the list. The financial aid and TEG do NOT bind you in any way to actually attending the school. This is a business decision that will cost you close to $90K, please do not let a $300 deposit even bother you at this point. So no, you have not "sealed the deal", you have given them money to ensure a seat should you ultimately decide to attend. When you accept the financial aid and they apply it towards your tuition that is another story. There should be withdrawal dates where you receive partial refunds, not exactly sure when these are. So, once again, accepting and applying the aid to your tuition bill is the real date to be concerned about. Hope this helps.theatetus wrote:That's precisely the kind of stuff I'm worried about, +1sr84 wrote:i sent out the stcl financial aid app and the tution equalization grant today..does that mean i have sealed the deal with stcl??theatetus wrote:I'm applying to part time programs and have gotten into STCL but am waiting on UofH (top choice). Thank you sir. I sent UH a second round of negotiations over a week ago and I have yet to hear back. I'm hoping this is a good thing in that they fully considering it.Oftranch wrote:Withdrawing... $10,000/yr back in the pot.
