I would just write one but I know they are generally used for after being placed on a wait list.
I had similar numbers and didn't write a LOCI. Was accepted promptly last cycle, which is the only school I can say that about. I didn't think WUSTL really YP'd people, especially splitters. I'd write one if you want to go. As long as it doesn't seem totally insincere, it can only help.

If last year is a guide, you should be looking at around half tuition.

I'm really hoping last year will be pretty much equal to this year. So far half the schools I've gotten into have given me lower schollys than I expected from similar candidates last year. The other half were pretty much the same amounts as last years.

Hoping WUSTL doesn't cut back this year...

They got my application. I'm anticipating a wait list though unfortunately.

posted question in admitted student forum about scholarship timeline and got this reply:

Scholarships decisions will be made and e-mailed starting in February. The Admissions Committee assess all admitted applicants for merit based scholarship, Scholars in Law Awards. Scholarship awards are sent to admitted candidates separately from the admit e-mails. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Best,
Washington University School of Law Admissions

If you sign-in to the admitted student bulletin board (should be in your admit email) you can post in the forum and the admissions office will answer your questions

Updated once to 12/2, then nothing. WUSTL sure is moving slow.

I'm frozen under review at 12/6. WUSTL has recently become my top choice.

You're in at Gtown, Michigan, and UVA with $$. Worse things have happened in a cycle.

I'm definitely thankful for my acceptances, but as I'm from MO (and would like to remain close to my family), WUSTL has been my first choice for quite a while.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
