Whew! I'm in the same situation as you guys, having recently been admitted by phone with no other indications of acceptance.

I was admitted by phone, received an email confirming admission, and also received the fin aid email just now.

I have been stuck on under review since 10/27, when I got the email I thought it was definitely a rejection. I guess it's too early for those.

Same here. When I got the call, she specifically told me that the status checker wouldn't update until mid-December. I did get the financial aid email the other day, though.

I noticed people were asking about URM status, but I thought that technically Berk is not supposed to look at race? Those stats would warrant admission without the URM boost as they are within the range (though Berk is a black box).

I'm not a lawyer just yet, but IIRC CA is allowed to consider race (indeed, I believe that racial diversity is listed as something desirable in a concurring opinion), it just isn't allowed to have it be the primary/sole factor.
