Here are the dates when the first decisions were reported on LSN:

2010: Dec 1 Wednesday
2009: Dec 1 Tuesday
2008: Dec 11 Thursday
2007: Dec 3 Monday
2006: Dec 6 Wednesday
2005: Dec 8 Thursday
2004: Dec 1 Wednesday

Looks like these are the postmark dates for some of the first to hear the news. Last year was the first time NYU used status checkers, and those updated on Friday, 12/3. The first guy to announce that his status was updated on TLS did so at 1:43 EST.

Are people thinking that the first round of acceptances will go out sometime this week for both ED and RD? I hope NYU keeps to the dates on LSN from last year...

I hope so. I still haven't gotten in anywhere and I've been UR at NYU for a couple weeks
