Yeah, I got that yesterday and wondered why I couldn't see anything about it on here. Now I understand why they don't have any money to give out for scholarships...

Also, seeing as I wasn't offered $$, I concocted a conspiracy theory where they send these to applicants who don't get $$ as a consolation bribe.

I assume my conspiracy theory is bunk, but to prove as much: did anyone who got the leather binder also receive a merit aid offer?

Yeah I got it today and I got a merit offer. I wish they would gone more in-depth on some things in there, kinda just highlighted things quickly. But then maybe Columbia spoiled me with that brick...but I mean when you start it out with a student ambassador letter and then proceed to not give me any student testimonial....I have to wonder.

But it is a decent quality package and very well put together.

So THAT's what's awaiting me at my apartment. I got a package message from my front desk that I got a package from GULC-I was assuming it was just another letter or something of that sort.

It was via USPS, but not a typical shipping method so there is no a postmark (looks like more of a specialized business delivery with scannable labels). I'm in the midatlantic states and I got mine yesterday, so I'd expect them to be making their way around shortly. I think it's somewhat likely they're sending random bunches over the course of a few days though; based on the size of these packages I'm not sure they'd send all X00-X000 of them in one day.
