just to finish this up.. and maybe clarify a bit to justadude, who seems to take an all or nothing approach to careful or critical consumerism....
if i don't agree with something a company does, i'll be likely not to shop there. but i'm not a vigilante trying to find things wrong with every item available for sale. however, if i learn about something a company does and it seems to me blatantly against my own principles, i'll avoid it.
FWIW.... my boyfriend loves chik fil a

How did USC communicate decisions last year?
And how come the last set of decision finalized people have also not heard anything (was just looking at some of the rest of the thread)?
More importantly, in case my DF 1/3 does mean I am in, does USC offer subsidized trips to LA for admitted students weekends? Because THAT would be awesome.

I'm pretty sure they only communicate decisions via snail mail.applepiecrust wrote:How did USC communicate decisions last year?

no one knows what the decisions are, but they are likely acceptances.

why is it every girl with a boyfriend always has to mention their boyfriend in every discussion even if the convo is not about romance? i know your point is you'll date people who eat chick fil a, but if you had a firm i only don't date people who are cute, smart and don't eat chick fil a approach to dating, you're probably a pretty weird individual.glitter178 wrote:just to finish this up.. and maybe clarify a bit to justadude, who seems to take an all or nothing approach to careful or critical consumerism....

i do appreciate you clarifying that you are not a vigilante. i really pictured you being like robert deniro in taxi driver standing in front of the mirror, but thank you for notifying me i was incorrect in this assumption.

This is the biggest acceptance thread hijacking I've seen yet. Usually they are at least about another school being better/worse....

It's a subtle (or even subconscious) way to tell all the horn dogs that they are not available. At least I've been told.

Re: USC 2011
so... my mistake for being stressed out about LS decisions (or lack thereof) and bringing in my personal life by mentioning a SO for the first time, ever, which apparently is not acceptable. I would so much rather be talking about decisions, but since i've been at IR with USC for 2 months now, I don't have anything new to say. It seems like everyone on here complains and moans and groans and digresses, so why can't I? sorry for bringing up the S/O, he is not "wrapped into my identity" by any means.
sooo.... my bad. i probably shouldnt' even visit this site, but i don't know anyone going to law school or going through this process so i come here to commiserate.

Don't even trip, lol. It's not a big deal. Talk about your man if you want. I don't think the majority of the people on here really care enough to call you out on it. There's nothing to "call you out on" but otherwise I agree with this sentiment. There's nothing wrong with mentioning your boyfriend lol. Also, curious, how many other former Bruins are applying to USC with me?
