Got my letter today and received a 14k/year with a 161 and 3.0 gpa and 3.6 grad gpa. Ill know if Im attending mid feb if not Ill withdraw so someone else can get the money.

Does anyone know if Pitt has a solid IP program?

If you're really concerned, your best bet is to come visit for yourself. I can tell you loads about the city of Pittsburgh and undergraduate life, but the law school is a much smaller microcosm of the university as a whole. Like most law schools, it will tend to attract a narrower range of backgrounds and interests than their parent universities.

How smart is the median Pitt Law student? How smart is the typical person with a 160 LSAT and 3.37 GPA? The numbers aren't direct measures of intelligence, so you will probably find smart people and not-so-smart people as your classmates.

I plan to visit in the next few weeks.

Pitt has, by far, shown the most interest in me as a prospective student.

I have a bit of a dilemma. For Pitt I only submitted my PS and I’m starting to feel nervous that I won’t get in especially after the ding from PennState. The thing is that I submitted a PS DS and Why PSU for PennState where I was expecting atleast a WL. I honestly don’t think that my DS was that bad and as for a Why Pitt essay, I submitted my app early enough to do ED so I don’t want them to ask “if I really want Pitt that bad then why didn’t you ED?” which is why I didn't do it in the first place
How could I show that I’m still interested without giving them a reason to ding me?

Definitely. I'm getting so irritated that I'm starting to not care anymore - and Pitt is one of my top choices.

I'm in the same boat, I've been UR for too long. I thought I would hear back last week when acceptances were coming out.

I guess a month in a half isn't enough time to decide on my application, even though I qualify for the deans scholarship.
