Does the Duke status checker change or does it stay at ready for review?

I just checked. It says "decision made; you will be notified soon". Applied 12/29. Very happy to hear so soon

fwiw I got my email the same day it said decision made. Didnt come to until 7ish eastern.

I just got my purple envelope today as well. NYU is definitely my current top choice out of the schools I've heard back from so far. A Puke Colored Envelope might change my mind though if one arrives in my mailbox sometime in the next couple weeks.

If you get accepted on the first wave, it usually takes slightly more than a month. If you are on the borderline, longer.

International students probably do. Most schools that do snail mail will email the letter to people abroad; not sure if that's true of Columbia. But all Columbia acceptances to people in the US are done by snail mail.

Well I heard from BU today. I got an email alert on my blackberry from them and I presumed it to be a decision since I've been complete for some time now. However, all I got was an email entitled 'a
week in the life at BU law'

UR as well. i wish LSN had an "under review" column on the application timelines, so we could have an idea of how long it will take.
