I feel like, with those stats, the bolded had to have played a decisive role.

That doesn't bode well for me...even though I did take a year off in between high school and college and worked. I feel like I didn't emphasize that in my app nearly enough now.

Denied with a 174 and 3.93. Pretty good softs (president or vice president of several clubs, started a business, etc), K-JD. I think one of the deciding factors was that I had a bad JS1 (at least I think I did anyway). Surprisingly, I am not that upset. The way I see it, sometimes there is a benefit in not getting what you want. For me at least, it makes me want to work that much harder in the future. For those who have gotten denied, try to make the best of the situation. For those who haven't heard, best of luck. There is still time to hear good news.

Yeah, one of the questions was why I wanted to go to law school now instead of taking a year off. I don't think the interview went well because although I had all of my answers prepared in advance and said exactly what I wanted to say, I stumbled with the delivery somewhat. Because of this, I think I was perceived as being unsure about what I wanted to do.

I got asked if law school didn't exist what would I do instead, which I thought might be an alternative way of asking but that seems a little different..

I also got the "what would you do if not for law school" question. I asked her to clarify if she meant to ask what would I do if I got rejected, and she just repeated something to the effect of "if not law school, then what?", which I took to mean as "law school doesn't exist". I think my answer was pretty weak, since the question's phrasing threw me off.
