Also, just wanted to point out that everyone HAS been hearing back from NYU....just not regarding decisions lolol

yeah last weekend was the first time in two months that I didn't have to come in on a weekend. I was excited to pump through all the work I had hanging over my head from this deadline we met on Friday. Then I got an email from NYU

I feel you. After months perfecting a data viz, I got a fatal error when I tried to open it today. No backups anywhere. Support suggestion was: "Rebuild Workbook"

Found out the part time clerk royally screwed up a large filing right as one of the attorneys started to shout out questions regarding various case statuses to me. So much for being able to leave the office at a reasonable hour.

Nightwing I think you would have much better chances and an overall far better cycle if you wait a year, apply on day 1, and write Why X essays for almost every school saying last year you were WL but you reapplied because you know school X is the one for you etc etc. in the mean time, seriously ride out a WL if you know you would attend no matter what the cost (i.e. HYS) and stay on the other ones if you want to see what happens on the off chance one gives you serious money
