So far it seems like (with some notable exceptions like Taw) low GPA, high LSAT splitters are in the 3/16 batch along with people whose are not splitters but who have both GPA and LSAT around the median. It seems that many of us who are under review more recently are low Lsat splitters people who have both stats at or below the 25th percentile. Hmm... not sure if that bodes well for those of us in the second group.
3.3 163 urm with an update today.

I like this analysis, mostly because it makes me feel like I have a little bit better chance than a snowball in hell.megster_29 wrote: So far it seems like (with some notable exceptions like Taw) low GPA, high LSAT splitters are in the 3/16 batch along with people whose are not splitters but who have both GPA and LSAT around the median. Another update, just because if we're going to keep track of this it's easier to do it excessively... sorry if I'm spamming you.

I meant to write that those of us in this group are EITHER low LSAT splitters OR people who have both stats at or below the 25th, not that all of us have both LSATs and GPAs below the 25th. Also, it seems like a few of those with lower numbers are URM's... so that changes things a bit as well. I really don't know what to think.

Also interesting is that scarletlady did not get a DR before her ding, which is putting me even more on edge.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I dont think my situation will fit into any discernable pattern. There are applicants with similar numbers who went complete in early March and have already heard decisions. I am an outlier, an exception, a "which one of these doesn't belong". ugh
As for the splitters, it certainly makes sense that they're holding onto your applications until they have a good sense of where they are in relation to the medians.

maybe they're waiting to see where else you get in. if you get (edit) columbia or something like that they probably won't want to mess with you

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Yup, I have an ongoing correspondence with a lady in admissions who most recently told me that it can take up to 6-8 weeks for an application to go from "complete" to "under review". I indicated that my application was originally complete on DECEMBER 3RD.sibley wrote:you're sure they still have your app?chutzpah wrote:I dont think my situation will fit into any discernable pattern. Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
i'm not sure i ever went DR either. i checked about a week before i received my letter, and it still said complete 12/9. so in less than a week i guess it could've went Complete->UR->DR but would all that have happened in time for me to receive the letter? weird. i guess maybe i should've been more obsessive about my status checker.sibley wrote:she didn't?
