I assume this means everyone whose application they haven't seen yet is getting rejected too?

update: Fordham will in fact close down next year for renovations and will admit no incoming class. Further details after I floss, just thought you all would like to know.

Wow. I honestly didn't notice "grime" or anything on Saturday, but man this conversation has been going on a long time! IDK, maybe I just have lower standards, but the place just seemed old and worn in to me, not dirty?Kim617 wrote:ehhh, i lived in nyc my whole life, and i would never tolerate grime. not saying that fordham is grimy, because i didn't particularly notice that, just a little run down, but grime is not really part of city living...LaurenGayle wrote:In the most loving way possible -- It's New York City. You'll get used to "grime." Fordham is not a school in the middle of some idyllic landscape...it's city living. I loved the school at the ASD in January and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary about its cleanliness.

I assume this means those of us who applied late (complete 1/29) don't have much of a shot. oh wellsibley wrote:hi all! currently visiting wash u- on the metro around UM somewhere. just got a nice informal email from dean brown saying most/almost all of their decisions now are rejections. will convey whole message later just thought you'd like to know.

It's really why I put "grime" in quotation marks. I don't think it's grimy at all, but people have differing opinions. I took my best friend to a restaurant on the UES and she said that "if this restaurant was in DC [she] would have never walked in" and pointed to a small amount of dirt/grime/something on the facade. I would have never thought twice about it and still don't.Kim617 wrote: i definitely thought old and worn, but i didn't think dirty. i never said fordham was dirty. i was just saying that ny isn't grimy.

Jesus sibley he's clearly talking about their PAST decisions. Nicely done. (Not that I helped matters.)

Lol. Sorry. Delete quote please. Oh you did. Thanks. God. I need an ipad instead of an iPod. Or just a computer.

Sorry I did not get back to you. I am traveling, but reading every night!
Most of our decisions now have been denials. We have lots of offers out and are waiting to see what happens on April 15. !

Re: Fordham Waiting Room
I apologize if this has been addressed in the previous pages, but it seems that Fordahm has an extremely deep WL. Does anyone know how deep they typically reach, and do you folks think that the huge # of applicants everywhere means more people being pulled from WLs?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
