Congrats to everyone who's gotten the call today!! Penn's one of my top choices, but I'm RD so I'm still in for a bit of a wait. :(

+1. I was just thinking the same thing. A lot of numbers that I thought would be a great shot RD decided to ED

Yeah, once I got into UVA RD I kind of questioned EDing at Penn. Funny, I experienced the same thing in undergrad, and really regret EDing at the school I went to. Whatever. Hope this doesn't bite me in the ass.

Edit: Plus, there's a couple of big black spots on my transcript, which is what resulted in the low (3.28) GPA. I wasn't quite sure how law schools would view it, but apparently my recovery made it not such a big deal.

+2. Not to make anyone feel bad, but some of those looked like numbers with at least a shot at CCN.

Except this year, people with HYS numbers are EDing at CCN anyway.

In ED, I got the call at 11:40 and I'm a W. 168/3.85.
I am beyond thrilled right now.

How are ED applicants notified if they are deferred/rejected? Email?

Also, last year, did all ED applicants find out the same day?

I suppose that's good for those of us who are [very, very, very] borderline at HYS yet put in an application anyway [like me!]

I'm personally excited because Penn Dental School invited my fiancee to interview last night, and Temple called her last week for an interview. If she gets into either, it makes UPenn a realistic option for me. Now I just have to get in!

I'm losing hope. Maybe it's completely unreasonable to be doing so at this point, but I can't help it.

I was more concerned about YP than boosting my chances. I would go to Penn over CLS, though I know the very concept of that blows the mind of everyone here.

I'm with you. Every second that ticks by is another second that I have not been called. Hahahaha. Might as well go do something else.

Yeah, you were the one with CLS numbers that applied ED to Penn. Why would they YP you if you're ED... Duh.
