11/24. I should clarify that I'm in-state, although I still haven't sent in the in-state tuition form yet, so I'm kind of unsure of what my status with that whole thing is.goosey wrote:clevinger33 wrote:In via snail mail today w/ $10,000/year provided I keep a 2.0 average. Re: William & Mary
So it took 1-2 weeks from complete to get an acceptance for some people.
Is this correct? Thanks!

Is the envelope the size of a regular letter, or is it 8.5x11? I just got an email that I have a flat package waiting for me and I can't go get it until 4. It's driving me crazy thinking it could be another school.

Yeah, I kinda feel that way too. My status has been "Application Ready for Review" since 11/17, and so many people who applied later have been accepted. My stats are borderline, so I'm definitely not an auto-admit.

My stats are in my profile. The letter was a priority mail envelope, whatever size you need to fit 8.5x11 paper.

Ah, thanks, that's what it is then. I can now go back to writing my paper and stop trying to figure out where the heck another decision could have come from.clevinger33 wrote:My stats are in my profile. The letter was a priority mail envelope, whatever size you need to fit 8.5x11 paper.

Question: I submitted my app to W&M recently, and my status is still "Application Ready for Review" (updated 12/3)
However, the status checker has "Seat Deposit 0.00" under fees.
Does this mean I'm in, or does it mean nothing?
My application to UF is "in transit," and I have the same "Seat Deposit" designation...

Means nothing. I've had that same status for several other schools where I wasn't even complete. And my W&M said the same thing for the entire app. process before I received my decision.Chelios wrote:Question: I submitted my app to W&M recently, and my status is still "Application Ready for Review" (updated 12/3)

I don't think it means you're in. All of my status checkers have either "Seat Deposit" or "Admissions Deposit." I have the same status as you too.Chelios wrote:Question: I submitted my app to W&M recently, and my status is still "Application Ready for Review" (updated 12/3)

That was hilarious. Dragged a little for the last minute or so when Hitler wasn't so intense, but the first couple minutes were classic.gymboree wrote:I'm always game for some distraction...

Re: William & Mary
So I got a call back from W&M today and thought I'd update everyone: I've been complete since late October and it has said "review pending" on my status check for a while now. I was told my app has passed through the initial review and was placed on hold for the time being (my lsat is rt at their lower end and gpa lower than 3). So one thing is, it may still say review pending even if you've already been reviewed once and placed on hold.
Question: does "initial review" mean they've already gone through the whole app and like everything else, but have an issue with numbers (want fall grades) or does it mean they just looked at the numbers and sorted them into an "admit" and "hold" pile? Secondly, has anyone been turned down yet? Should I rejoice in not being rejected or is the "iniitial review" not really a review at all and they're just not sending rejections out yet.
