Anyone seeing any patterns with admits and numbers? I just skimmed the past couple pages and can't discern any noticable trends. Thoughts?

My acceptance letter spoke about the huge number of applications they are receiving this year. Maybe this could be why? I dont know. Its so cut throat. I dont know why the accepted me...i really dont.

haha, I meant New England, I read somewhere that they sometimes prefer people from New England college....but it's probably a minute part of the application process.

It's still 1pm over here in Cali, mail usually comes around 3:30pm...or 5pm...it all depends

I read somewhere that "quality of UG" is a factor they consider, but that's pretty ambiguous.

Hmm that's probably how I got in despite a sucky GPA. It is really hard to get a 4.0 at a Top 10 institution. On another note I've heard that BU does not give extra padding for GPAs from prestigious ugrads. Boo.

Congrats to all those riding on the wave of acceptances today :D.
