Just got in via phone call! :)

Applied 11/14, invited to interview 11/28, and went back under review today.

LSAT = 50th, GPA > 75th

Congrats! Could you tell us when you did your interview, if you don't mind?

It is kind of unusual to see some rejections/waitlists for certain individuals on this forum and law school numbers. When I got the phone call, Dean Ingram was saying they are really trying to keep a small class? Maybe this is how they are going about it? Although it still wouldn't make as much sense.

You found out by just looking at status checker? Did you get an email or anything?

They are probably dinging people for YP. Keep in mind schools have to admit 3-4x their desired class size because of yield, so they can't admit everybody based on whether they have super high numbers.

Thanks! I did it December 7th, and the status checker changed to say interview completed the next day. I couldn't tell if it updated because it had been ten days since the request or if it just took a day to process, but they didn't look at the interview for two weeks anyway.

I went complete in October and no interview request, but at median GPA and LSAT>75th. At this point I'm preparing for a WL/ding.

Latest status checker update has me at "Your application is ready for review" on 12/2. Submitted on 11/01. No interview request yet.

Mylsn gave my numbers above an 85% chance of acceptance, I'm at 75th LSAT, just below 50th GPA, and Cornell is one of my top choices. Is it looking like WL/ding is on the horizon for me? If so, I hope I'm getting booze for the holidays...

Also, do you think the admissions office will be giving decisions over the next two weeks?

Yeah, I figured I'd not only get in, but get some money and end up going. Guess not...
Any idea what happened? I interviewed 12/14 and haven't heard back so I'm pretty worried seeing all these WLs/dings

Already in at Duke, so I don't think my app had any major issues. My online video interview didn't go great by any means, but I wouldn't have thought it was bad enough to make them not like me. They only took like 26 hours after I finished my interview before they made their decision, though, so idk.
I'm in the same boat re: Duke. At least we've both got an awesome option!

Yeah I didn't know either! They just said it's the highest scholarship Cornell offers so that's pretty cool! :-)

Kira talent platform lost connection at the 6th question and I had to reload the setup. Everything seemed to be going fine beforehand. Here's hoping that doesn't impact my decision in any way. :oops:
