YES. That's huge.
Thanks! Any advice on the wording of these things? I would like to subtly convey my desire for a massive scholarship:).
Congrats! I would try to convey it as the "cherry on top" type of thing. So as to not make it seem (I know this is not the case) that you only want to go for the $. So make it seem like NU is and has been your top choice even before the big $ came in, and now that there exists an opportunity for big money, it becomes an additional strong input in your cost-benefit analysis.

I would say to be very strict about not going over 1 page.

Anyone try to do the CSS application for Northwestern? I didn't see Northwestern Law School as an option.

Any ED applicants heard back from Northwestern again? Someone said in this post that they may start giving out offers to ED students as early as January 7th last year.
Do Northwestern give out scholarship package with their admittance? If not, how long does it take before you hear about money? (I may have to withdraw an ED 2 application at another school if Northwestern offers me decent money)
Good luck everyone.

I don't think any have heard back yet. The final date to show your continued interest by for ED applicants is the 9th, so I would assume they start rolling on those again after that.

On the blog it says no ED applicants will hear back before then.

THIS! I pm'd someone in this group last night and they said they received a non-automated response two days later. I only got the automated response. It's been two days. Currently debating whether or not to call them about it today...Thoughts?
You should definitely call if you haven't heard anything! It's been a while for you.

+1 You should call. I received the non automated response the same day (Dec 28th). Who knows what may have happened, but you're not going to hurt anything by making sure your ducks are in a row. If you don't call and it fell through the cracks you're going to be kicking yourself for it.

I'll be doing the online interview on Tuesday, any advice you can share? I've looked over the entire thread and have seen the questions, more interested in how long it is/ dress/recorder, etc.
Also, how long does it normally take to go complete after the online interview? I've seen this discussed above but wondering if it's a faster process if you do it online. Thanks!

How long it is sort of depends on you, because you get unlimited practice sessions to get used to the recording system and how it works. They have practice questions that are just like "tell us about where you grew up" "what's your favorite candy and why" like just fake questions for you to get used to the system. So definitely use those. After that you have 6 questions, each with 30 seconds of prep time and 1 min of answering time. So the actual thing, if you do them back to back, is only like 10 minutes but you can take breaks in between questions so again it depends on you. Wear business clothes!

Ugh. I did the practice questions at least 4-5 times before the real interview and I still froze up on one question. I couldn't come up with a good example in the 30 seconds beforehand, and my answer only lasted 20 seconds

..... @$#*

If the timeline for this cycle is like last year's, we might see an RD wave this week
