What's up with Emory's 21.3% school funded rate? According to LST?

Yup. Down to 12%, which appears to be better than USC, Georgetown, and UC-Irvine for the graduating class of 2015.njkga wrote:Old data. Its down to 12%Roundhill wrote:What's up with Emory's 21.3% school funded rate? According to LST?

Awesome! You should check out the C/O 2019 facebook group as well, there's a lot of discussion right now about apartments and finding roommates and such. Here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1652872224994445/mysojuli wrote:Hey!

Emory has a Transactional Law Program that looks amazing for students interested in that type of practice.ausimpv wrote:...Besides, they have nothing for people interested in business law -- no clinics, no journal, not even an org other than the JD/MBA society. Good luck to everyone else going there!

I'm really curious as to what the professor said.. can you elaborate at all?ausimpv wrote:Wait listed but will be withdrawing after visiting the school. During the visit, one of the professors was telling us reasons why NOT to come there, to my surprise. After hearing it, it was hard for me to focus on anything else I was told. I appreciate the guy's honesty. And I'm going with my gut. Besides, they have nothing for people interested in business law -- no clinics, no journal, not even an org other than the JD/MBA society. Re: Emory Law c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
What you said about there being no journals or organizations just isn't true. There's a Corporate and Business Law Society and the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review is a journal that focuses on issues related to business law. The Transactional Law Program is also heavily business law. I'm not really sure what you're looking for, but if you've already withdrawn, it really doesn't matter anyway.ausimpv wrote:Wait listed but will be withdrawing after visiting the school. As an Emory alum, I would be interested to know what professor said that though.

Do you guys know how to unsubscribe from getting emails from law schools? (CRS or whatever)...I thought I did on my LSAC account but my inbox is still getting blown up by schools who never close their applications lol

I've been unsubscribing as they come in. Northeastern (a rancid pool of excrement and filth) seems to be the only one so far which disregards it.AbbeyS wrote:Do you guys know how to unsubscribe from getting emails from law schools? Do we have a summer reading list? I'm reading getting to maybe but didn't know if there's somewhere to go to find updates.

There's no summer reading list required by the school if that's what you're asking. I was planning on reading Getting to Maybe and One L, as those are the books I see most frequently recommended.lawyersHATEhim wrote:Do we have a summer reading list?
