I think the better question is, "when do rejection letters go out?"

Harvard can essentially hold applications all cycle and you could surprisingly end up with a JS1 in like February or March.

I went to a big state school for undergrad, so she asked me about my experience there. She asked me to explain a time I was part of a team and how I handled conflict in that situation. I work in a somewhat challenging field now, and she asked how I stay motivated, which was the only question that caught me a little off-guard. I stammered for half a second but then (I hope) recovered nicely. I asked a couple of questions at the end, and then after about 15 minutes, we were out of time. Overall, I felt really good about it. Good luck rocking your interviews!
Thanx for the update - seems like they try to throw in at least one question that you won't be expecting to see your personality a bit more.
Two points as I get all neurotic here: Approximately how long were your answers, and are the other posters correct that you have no idea who the interviewer is until they introduce themselves?
I'd guess my answers were between a minute and two minutes each. A couple of times I caught myself talking for what seemed like too long, so I wrapped it up.
And yes, you have no idea who the interviewer will be in advance, though I wouldn't stress about that too much.

Long-time lurker, letting y'all know that I got my JS1 this morning. So evidently a new round is being sent. I was complete 11/5.

Meaning the 23rd is being set aside for JS2s, right?

I wish. No, I was just checking to see if we could expect a large wave today. Sorry, should have been more clear about that

the tiny irrational amount of optimism left in me says that the 25th is being kept open for JS2s, but it would be great if you were right

Finished up my JS1.I was also told that they weren't going to release decisions until around the New Year. Any thoughts on whether decisions will come out before or after the New Year??

I'd be interested in the answer to this question, too.

I don't think it is common to do. Maybe a few do, but I believe a vast majority don't.

General consensus last year was not to send one. The adcomms have enough to read as it is.

Did you get a JS1? That would be great news for other URMs (and probably indicate that Harvard is leaning even more to LSAT over GPA).
I wishhhhhhhhh!!!! I was just wondering if the JS1 recipients applied earlier than i did which would make me feel better about not getting one. So far i have acceptances from duke pt and georgetown regular decision.
