Yea the apartment thing is what gets me. DC is expensive as all hell as it is, but at least I've got some space. The COL of having a dog in the city also worries me. But I LOVE NYC, so we'll see.
How about you go to NYU and I take your dog and go to UVA.

I actually don't mind doing laundry. Especially when I'm just splitting the washer with one other person and it only costs me what I pay for soap. But good to know drop-off is a reliable institution in NYC.
If I had it in-unit, I wouldn't mind because you can start it and walk away to do other things. With a laundromat you're kind of stuck sitting there for at least a couple hours while it does its thing.
WASH. AND. FOLD. is the single greatest thing that's ever happened to me.

Just submitted my application on Tuesday night. Still waiting on one of my LORs to come through, my LOR for RTK and one of my general ones are in but still need the other general one, so they're holding my app until that LOR comes in.

Ok guys, can you all please assuage my neuroticism?
Just submitted but now on my LSAC home page its got NYU listed as an "Incomplete Transmitted Application" saying something about LORs. But then it says right next to it that I have LORs assigned to this school. This is normal right?
Right? Oh my god this process is driving me crazy

Give it a day or two...the school gets notified that you submitted and then they request the info, then it will be marked as LSAC completed. Don't freak out yet, everything is most likely 100% fine as all apps say incomplete in the immediate aftermath!

Thanks a ton for that, you have no idea. I also like your use of the phrase "immediate aftermath." It makes it sound as if something catastrophic just happened...
Sidenote: Its really amazing the things you freak out about when submitting these things. Like I just reread over the app again after submitting and realized my LSAT score wasn't on there. Dumb me was hyperventilating for 5 minutes thinking I forgot to add it in before I finally realized its LSAC that submits it...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
