FYI They gave me an extra 5k/year after my second negotiation email (they rejected my first attempt). Still not a great offer for me comparatively, so I will be withdrawing. Good luck to the rest of you!

Is there any chance of an increased scholarship after april 15 if you don't double deposit? wustl offered me more money yesterday but mentioned not having any other seat deposits if I accept.

Original Poster: Is it possible to update the poll for this thread? Perhaps it could be changed to something concerning scholarship offers or deposits. I think that would be helpful to many here.

Still can't decide if going to BC Law is worth 70k+ of debt. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if youre saying you have other money so you would only have 70k in debt
or you think that with a 20k scholly youd have 20k in debt..

Because with a 20k a year scholarship, youre debt will be closer to 165k if youre financing it all through loans

Correct me if I'm wrong, folks, but the deposit deadline for BC was last wednesday (APR 15), right?

Does anyone know when they expect to begin making offers of admission to wait listed applicants?

My friend who was on the wait list last year was accepted in mid-May via phone call

For those who attempted to negotiate, what was the response from BC like? I received a response from BC that seemed like it was tailored to what I wrote (and not just a generic reply), but it was very basic. They said they wouldn't increase my scholarship, but not much else. They didn't ask for any additional information, nor did they say why they weren't willing to increase my scholarship.

I would need the money to attend, and so I am going to try again, but BC didn't give me much of anything to work with. I'm wondering how that measures up to what anyone else received after an attempted negotiation.

I wouldn't expect anything until after the second seat deposit deadline. Standard rule of thumb.

Are you sure of that? I was told otherwise when I spoke to admissions.
