woke up today to acceptance call. UR2 12/16. honestly was expecting yp, no optional essays and above both 75. Very happy now, of course now my mind is wondering why they did not YP me...

So what's Penn's normal decision cycle? Are we to expect something next week? Given that the UR2 Class of 1/6 received offers today, could we expect UR2 Class of 1/8 to receive offers as early as Tuesday?

Mine has the seat deposit (not sure whether it's always been there), and has at some point fairly recently been updated to say Offer of Admission and have a checklist with final transcript, etc, if that helps.

Congrats to the other admits today!

ETA: For those wondering earlier, I wrote the optional essay that was similar to "Why Penn"

No call or movement today on status checker, still UR2 12/8. Seems like if they were gonna WL me they'd have done it today, right? Who knows...

Waitlisted...Gpa >75th and lsat of 170. Do they care about why Penn that much? Or was it probably something else with my app? Really bummed right now...
