Really sorry to hear this. Be sure to write a LOCI. Once everything is said and done, please let Vandy know about your interviewer (if you haven't already). I know they wouldn't want someone poorly representing their school.fairhope71 wrote:Int'l, Non-traditional, LSAT 169, GPA Above Averagecafecreme15 wrote:mickey_mouse wrote:Complete since a few days before 11/4 and nothing still. I'm in the same boat! Went complete 1/2, and radio silence. Definitely starting to get nervous...
11/06 application complete
11/18 a disastrous interview w/ a very rude alumni
Waitlisted today.Vandy was my top choice.
Now, I don't know what to do.

Sorry to hear that, man. Shoot an email to the AdComm telling them about your interview experience. I'm sure they don't want to discourage potential students from applying by making a horrible impression.fairhope71 wrote:Int'l, Non-traditional, LSAT 169, GPA Above Averagecafecreme15 wrote:mickey_mouse wrote:Complete since a few days before 11/4 and nothing still. Side note though: alumnus (single, masculine); alumna (single, feminine); alumni (plural, both genders).

Haven't been able to figure out from Fedex if a package is coming to me. Decision mailed 2/2- anyone else get decision mailed on that date with a W/L or Rejection? Vandy isn't my top choice to I'll live but the anticipation of knowing is killing me hah!

I'm in!
I can vouch that the interview at Vanderbilt is incredibly important. I was below the median for the LSAT and slightly above the median for GPA. But I'd like to think I had a great interview.
Good luck to everyone else. I will be deciding between Cornell and Vanderbilt, so looking forward to the accepted students day.

Finally decision mailed. I can't use the UPS manager thing though--plus I'm guessing it's either WL or ding. We'll see in a few days.
Edit: I meant FedEx, not UPS

For the record -> you should be checking Fedex Delivery Manager, not UPS. It took mine about 4 hours to update!Tr3 wrote:Finally decision mailed. I can't use the UPS manager thing though--plus I'm guessing it's either WL or ding. We'll see in a few days.

Oops, fedex is actually what I meant. My uncle and I have the exact same name and used to live at the same address, so it got confused and kicked me out. smhBrazilBandit wrote:For the record -> you should be checking Fedex Delivery Manager, not UPS. My decision has been mailed as well! It's about time, haha. I might try Fedex, might not bother. I live less than three hours from Vandy so I'm thinking the mail won't take that long.Tr3 wrote:Finally decision mailed. Finally decision mailed as well. Tomorrow would have been the 12 week mark, so props to them for sticking to their time frame.
I don't know if I will do the Fedex delivery thing or not., but I doubt I will last the weekend without checking it.

Funny you say that, because my 12 week thing passed. But I am signed up for Feb, so I'm sure that has something to do with it.cannonball wrote:Finally decision mailed as well. Tomorrow would have been the 12 week mark, so props to them for sticking to their time frame.

Yeah that thing might be quite tricky - If you are quite curious (as much as I was lol) you can also call and ask if there's anything addressed to you. It is shipped through Fedex Express

When you were calling Fedex, did you call the national number or your local one? I tried the national customer service 800 number but it wasn't helpful at all so I'm not really sure what Im doing wrong

For those whose decisions were mailed yesterday, when did you go complete?

Mid November. I think this was either week 11 or week 12. I think others posted similar time frames.
I'm not expecting an acceptance. WL at best.

I went complete 1/23. no interview, pm for stats (i'm a splitter). i can't get the fedex delivery manager to work, so I'm white-knuckling it til the mail arrives. i feel like it could go either way. I'm just not sure how to read into such a quick turnaroundcafecreme15 wrote:For those whose decisions were mailed yesterday, when did you go complete?

Re: Vanderbilt c/o 2018 applicants
Mid November for me as well. I haven't been able to get anything to show up on the delivery manager either, but I'm going to be really surprised if I got waitlisted.
Edit: I just called Fedex and I'm not receiving a package. Guess I was waitlisted. Huh. My stats are 50th LSAT and >75th gpa.

I'm going on week 14 - no response
. The dings usually take longer than the acceptances from what I've gathered.
