I posted on the other thread but I guess it was the less popular one? Haha

Checking in! Got scholarship email early this morning, so excited! I'm in at Georgetown as well, so I'm planning a trip in early march to check out both schools (and do a little sightseeing). Anyone familiar with the area have suggestions for me? I've never been to DC so I want to explore what it would be like to live there (well... As much as is possible in 4 days lol). Congrats to everyone else who's gotten in!!

Heads up to our admitted students, merit based scholarships are awarded by the admissions office. For need based aid, visit @gwlaw_finaid.

Does this mean they are DONE with awarding scholarships already? But I havn't received any :( (1/8 Admit)
I think you're reading into the wording. I think GW is just trying to differentiate b/t where the two types of funds come from. Don't worry :)

Happy anniversary, pompoms! Drinks. Many of drinks. Then stand outside the steps of GW while screaming, "why won't you love me!"

Do merit scholarships come via separate email? Or I do I have to find it somehow through the admitted students portal?

Watched this thread the last week with January admits getting $$. I was admitted 1/10, with similar #s to many of those offered $. So, I see an email from GW in my inbox and start freaking out. Another email about their academic programs. I know about those GW! That's why I applied. Stop toying with me.

Decision Made!! On the 3 month anniversary of going complete :) Granted, this might still be a reject/waitlist decision, but I'm still happy to finally be done checking it every day for 3 months lol

No luck getting in. Must be a ding/waitlist. Oh well. It was a reach given my numbers anyhow.

I'm really sorry. If it is a waitlist, are you going to ride it out?

I probably will since I want to do IP and it's a great school for that, but I'm not sure how long i'll be willing to wait. I have some pretty good other offers, so we'll see.

Waitlisted as well. I think that wraps it up for Team 11/6 - it's been real!

Good luck getting off MX! I almost definitely won't be staying on.

With the 11/6ers out of the running, I think that I may be holding the banner for longest complete without word. Team 11/14!

I'm at a 12/20 complete. Hope you hear back soon! I sure hope I don't have to wait another month before I find out.

Ahh I hadn't been on here in a bit and apparently missed the 11/6 party, but I'm still complete at 11/6.. Still no decision for me as of now though.
