I've been waiting all day and no news here on another round of ED decisions. Starting to go crazy!

I saw on the NU Admissions Twitter page that they were closed today from 12-2 for their holiday party. Maybe we'll have to wait until tomorrow? But still Johann's tweet made it seem like today was the day...either way, I'm equally as impatient!Luchi91 wrote:Man, they are really taking their time lol Though my patience is better than before, I am still impatient lol

Ya. I'm a little annoyed. I honestly wouldn't even mind being held to RD at this point. But like... give me SOMETHING (but please don't hold to RD because that would be sad)...!ChicagoCPA wrote:I've been waiting all day and no news here on another round of ED decisions. Starting to go crazy!

Okay.. kind of a dumb question because I probably should have researched this upon applying ED, but... when do they have until to get back to us? Or is it an open date? I'd imagine you wouldn't get in ED in like February, right? Is it just like "some time in December"?

Jan 4 is the deadline for initial decision, but I think they can decide to move you to RD, which means you'd have to wait longer. The Dark Kite wrote:Okay.. kind of a dumb question because I probably should have researched this upon applying ED, but... when do they have until to get back to us? Very important: if you are held will it just switch to "held" or do you still get "decision letter..."?

How quickly do the decision letters actually come after the change in status? Don't tell me 24 hours.

I assume ED because his tweet last week specified ED rounds would be coming this week.lawschool22 wrote:Is this referring to ED only or RD as well?objection_your_honor wrote:Johann @tweetsbyjohann 2m

I'm ED and I have the "decision" status right now.

So is this just an email, or will the status checker post a link?

From what I have read they will send an email. But the decision will be available in the decision portal before the email goes out. Its a link on the status checker page, at the bottom, below "JD login".objection_your_honor wrote:So is this just an email, or will the status checker post a link?
