Are those of you who have received acceptance letters getting any follow-up e-mails from Emory?

I took the email to mean sent out by March 29th. But they said we could call on April 1st if we haven't heard anything. If I don't get anything in the mail, I'm going to call on March 29th though because deposits are due on the 1st and they can't expect you to wait that long especially when decisions have already been made. And has anyone gotten an e-mail acceptance, denial or WL? In the email and on here, I thought Emory said they would be sending out more decision emails but I haven't heard of anyone getting one.

Just called in to check my status.... I'm still under review and they said all decisions should be released by Friday. Rejections will be emailed and typically all acceptances are sent by mail.

Still by mail?! I was under the impression people on this thread were receiving Emory acceptances by email recently, what with the deposit deadline coming up! This is painful.

I was referring to other schools. Most of mine have an April 1st deadline if you have a scholarship.

I just called the school to check my status (still in review). On the phone the lady told me that March 29 is NOT the last day to hear, it's just their goal but they could be sending decisions through the first week or so in April. UGH.

They've focused all of the attention so far on 166s and 167s. Emory is completely dependent on these people to keep their median LSAT up. More than most every other equivalent private school, Emory has a greater difference between 25%L and 50%L, and their GPAs are clearly lower. Emory is a bottom feeder, waiting to snap up the 166s and 167s that drift past other schools as February, March and April roll by. If a 167 applied to Emory today, he'd surely be accepted before noon tomorrow.

The result is that 50%+ of their incoming class is pissed off and exhausted by the time Emory starts paying attention to them, esp since there will be no scholarship money for mere 161s, 162s, 163s.

Most likely only if you're LSAT 166+... Emory will do anything for a 166+

I don't know how I feel about this analysis.
