That would be interesting. Isn't the general opinion among tlsers that W&L's ranking should be alongside W&M in the mid-thirties?

Well I love TLS but if it was up to TLSers no one would apply to any schools outside the t6 or retake and ED UVA

I hope they will either stay or go up. That said, I'm not going to make my decision based on the new rankings. They will change 3 more times by the time we graduate

I love W&L and all but I don't think that's going to happen with the USNWR having the new evaluation system for the PT/FT jobs. W&L has been hit pretty hard being a regional school :/
I think it's going to stay the same or maybe UWash drops out of the T25 and W&L maybe gets a small boost since they seem to have horrible job prospects.
Despite what I said, I hope they do go up in rankings and start getting more and more competitive applicants. I think a lot of applicants look at the rankings of schools to decide which school to attend and what not (even though it shouldn't be the biggest factor in choosing a school) and if that's the case maybe W&L, in later years, can get more competitive numbers and go back to the golden ages of being in the top 20.

hope the economy gets better by 2016 ... maybe not pre-recession levels but at least a brighter future :,(

W&L was never in the top 20, outside of a year or two they were 21-25 before falling the last few years.

Visited and did an interview and everything while still under review. I'm VERY on the line but I got in some how so I think the interview/visit/sit-in-class and PS helped. couldn't hurt.

side note: I toured with some teacher from North Carolina? for a private school? don't know if you're on here

You'll also get an option to interview, in case you can't visit. I did the interview cause there was no way I could afford the trip. I thought it went pretty well.

I definitely think 25-30 is the most comfortable area for W&L, not that any of that range makes much of a difference.
