Got the call from Dean Schwartz today! Very excited. Sorry if this has already been covered, but is there an ASW? Anyone visited the campus or planning to? I'm thinking about visiting UCLA to help me make my decision.

Is there any consensus on how long it takes to go complete? Looking at LSN, it seems to vary widely -- I saw everything from 4 days to a month between submit and complete dates. I only submitted on Jan 24th...

I submitted 1/24, and i received the complete email next day (1/25). I did email thanking them for the notice the first time, so i do not know if that had any impact, but it's nice to think it did.

I applied to UCLA on 1/9 and went complete on 1/11. They either like me or they're quick because I applied to 17 other schools between 1/7 and 1/9 and I'm still incomplete at 3 of them as of 1/28...

While I heard on the initial call I don't necessarily think this is something that happens every time. The call was basically over, "Feel free to call me if you have any questions" when I rambled for a bit and then he came back with my scholarship info. He was prepared to get off the phone without mentioning it.

Received an interview request from one of my faculty reviewers - anyone else get this? What sorts of q's do they ask? I submitted programmatic contribution essays for CRS and the Williams Institute. Stats in profile - not sure where I stand with such a low GPA, but I'll take the interview request as a good sign.

i'm really surprised i haven't heard from UCLA. Submitted application mid-december app was on hold for December LSAT, cali resident, and interviewed with Dean Schwartz at Duke in the fall.

Thx y'all - it's going to be a tough call in a few months... If I forget rankings for a minute, UCLA is easily my top choice. I hope they get at me with a nice scholly tomorrow.

Darn you alumni association! Every time I get an email with 'UCLA ' I jump. Hope my alma mater is kind to me and accepts me. Come on, you know u want me back on campus.
