Congrats to everyone who got accepted! It seems like Georgetown sends its letters out around the time of the last status update. Do you know if they are only sending out acceptance letters at this time? Or are they sending rejection/WL letters out now too? My status update has been stuck on 11/6, and I haven't received anything yet. Is that normal?

It looks like a few people have posted on LSN that they were rejected (ED), and one person posted that he was put on the WL (RD). Some people have posted on here, too, that they didn't get in. Good luck!

turned in app for both PT and FT today.... I'm curious about this as well.

Just got my acceptance letter in the mail! Complete 11/8, letter dated 11/12. So excited for D.C.!

Mine was complete 10/24 with a last update of 11/14, so we're almost twins as far as the updates go. Hopefully we will get a letter soon

Same here. I went complete 10/25 update on 11/6 and 11/14. Not sure if that meets this 3 update rule, but also hoping for a letter this week too.

It'll be my first decision because Cornell and Duke took their sweet time verifying my Dean's Cert. I went complete at Cornell just barely before the 11/15 EA deadline, on 11/14.

Needless to say, my anxiety is palpable.

Third and last complete date was 11/12, which is the same day the letter is postmarked.

Submitted Mid-October and I'm a 168 3.3 URM.

So far no scholarship info, just the letter with a personal note scribbled on the bottom (very nice touch).

Edit: I'm an RD applicant and didn't interview.

Each year, a large number of candidates submit applications to Georgetown Law early in the process. The high quality of this group makes the Committee's decisions extremely difficult. Please be aware that only a small number of early applicants have had their applications held, and a number of those applicants in past years have subsequently been admitted.



Once we have a better sense of the entire applicant pool, the Committee on Admissions will review your application again. No additional information is necessary, and the Credential Assembly Service (CAS) will continue to send us updates, which we will add to your file. A final decision will be made no later than Thursday, February 28, 2013.

Just had my 4th update (I interviewed with an alumnus out here in Utah last week). I am hoping this means the acceptance has been sent out today. Anyone know how acceptance letter dates correlate with updates after the interview?

Does anyone have an idea of how soon after you get your acceptance letter that you might get a scholarship package/offer? I got my acceptance letter almost a week ago and I was wondering if financial stuff gets mailed or if we wait for the admitted students website to be up and running in December. Any insight would be much appreciated.

I had a group interview with Dean Cornblatt back in October. I know I should just read back in this thread but I'm lazy and it's long... Sounds like people are doing individual interviews with alumni? Are they invite only? Instead of or in addition to the group interviews some are doing?

So I've figured out that the alumni interviews are by invitation, but I'm curious if anyone who did a group interview has also gotten an alumni interview invite. I was not "invited" to the group interview -- I found out about it through my alma mater's pre-law advisor and just signed up, which was before I submitted my application. Wondering if there's any chance I'll get an alumni interview too or if the group interview replaces that.
