That should be obvious.
Plus the southern ugliness really doesn't fly in the liberaterian southwest.

I definitely didn't mean to imply that Emory would have a better shot in the PHX market, just that it wouldn't be impossible to get your foot in with an Emory degree.gaud wrote:The bolded is what's true. BTW, congratulations!
If you REALLY want to practice in AZ, then ASU is the place for you (although Emory would also get you in the door here). ***Full disclosure*** I've lived in AZ for 3 years now, and between the weather and the people, I cannot wait to get the heck out of here!
I understood what you meant, man. I was just emphasizing one of your points.Nammertat wrote:I definitely didn't mean to imply that Emory would have a better shot in the PHX market, just that it wouldn't be impossible to get your foot in with an Emory degree.gaud wrote:The bolded is what's true. Favre -- want to trade ASU for Emory?
I dunno...Kathy told me the other day that most of their wait list activity doesn't occur until June or July. I'd love to know if I got in though or not, as it would complicate my decision about Emory.Glock wrote:I walked by the admissions office 20 minutes ago. Methinks they are doing the wait list actively.

I had a black Mustang with a black convertible top and black leather in high school, and by lunch time it was a lot hotter than 120, probably closer to 140-150.gaud wrote:![]()

A couple of practice runs at +120 is beneficial as well. Gives an idea of what it's like to hop in your car after it's been in the sun all day.

They are finally getting to the admitted student packets.
and the admissions committee was meeting with at least a few people
That is because they don't always answer their phone when I call them to tell them how horrible their law school is, and then demand to know why they haven't admitted me yet.![]()
and there were piles of paper on the table.
Those would be the rejection papers. Which was larger, the papers or the packets?
When I called to talk with them they said they hadn't finish reviewing all the applications. They didn't say they hadn't finish offering acceptances, which would have been the proper response to the question I asked.
