Just got accepted with high 150's / low 160's LSAT and approx 75% GPA. Non-URM. Don't despair.

I got accepted in late December around the same time that I got into Fordham...not sure which one to choose! Anyone have any advice to sway me either way?

You can't go wrong with:

"Good Morning/Afternoon Patrice,"

That's how I approached this pickle.

I think between these two you should really go where you want to work.

Application received 12/2, no movement since. Is this unusual?

I didn't. I got an mail on 01/25 saying I was being considered for a merit scholarship. Today I received the offer - merit-based.
And thanks!

I received an email regarding scholarships that asked for any information that could assist in their decision making (offers from other schools, updated resume/grades, etc). Did everyone receive this? If so, will I not receive an offer until I respond? I'd prefer to receive an initial offer before "showing my hand" of what I have.

SUCH WAS MY FEAR. I never received anything like that...I'll probably end up going to Fordham.

Actually it was from Minnesota, which was the best offer I had at the time.
bobbydonnelly, not everyone received the email and I don't think you HAVE to answer to get an offer, but it would be good to show them some interest.
One thing I don't get though: on the email I received it said "Upon review of the selected applicants, scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 ($15,000-$75,000) for three years full time or four years part time will be awarded". However, on LSN there are lots of scholarships of 105,000 last year (and 1 this year). Are those need based or is there another type of merit aid?

Yea, because when you get 120k from WUSTL and GW gives you 75k ...ain't gonna cut it

Do folks think that if one did not receive this email, one is not being considered for merit scholarships?

Having been admitted to a few T14s, I just don't think I can consider GW without $$, and I didn't get the email.
