edit: Also, for those already accepted, did your status date ever change after the initial "Application Complete" status change?

my status updated to the current date over the weekend, but no sign of anything in mailings...then got an email on tuesday saying i was in! and the mailings updated to the day on the weekend that i noticed the initial date change. so could be good news coming your way!

just got offer of admission with scholy, 3.2/167. there is hope.

No offense, but these posts do the exact opposite for me and others in our situation than promote hope lol

There are individuals with better numbers who have been complete forever watching people with worse numbers who applied later keep getting acceptances

That combined with fact W&M only hands out acceptances until about Feb. means that there is obviously something in our apps that they don't like for some reason

Scholarship offer came today for $12,000/year out of state (so tuition would be $20,000). Anyone know if W&M negotiates scholarship? I may have a bunch of big offers that I can leverage... I would be open to paying $20k/year at W&M but it would be tough...

no request for grades, but ill have a 3.33 after this semester anyway

Lol, I'm not in that range either (167/ 3.44)... Obvious they liked the apps of those with lesser numbers more / I'm waitlisted

The only slight hope I have is I was completely honest (might have been a mistake) and listed the 16 schools I applied to... maybe that'll make them think about not accepting me early

Don't be nervous! But there has been evidence in this thread of a quick turnaround. I went complete 2 days ago and they sent my admit package yesterday.

Don't mean to knock you off your bubble but I also listed the schools and that didn't change anything for me. I do have a lower LSAT score than you but a higher GPA. So I don't really know how they're making their decisions.

I do think, that my PS and DS and Resume were all really solid though so perhaps that's played a part in the way my cycle's been going so far.

Hmmmm, when did you apply? We are almost numbers twins and I didn't get this

I applied 11/20 and I received this request on 12/7 via email. It said the Dean had reviewed my application and she believes that knowledge of my Fall 2011 grades would be desirable prior to making a decision. Luckily for me I got a 3.75 this semester. I have pretty good extra-curricular record and my school is known in the south for being particularly rigorous (Georgia Tech)
