Congrats. Yeah I am in a big city where I am sure there are GULC alums... but it would be nice to A) be accepted and B) just get accepted now instead of waiting for the interview process. My gpa is pretty far above 75%, but LSAT is 169 (median is 170).

We have almost identical stats. Have you looked at the LSN graph for this year? Very encouraging news for 169's & high GPAs.

Have not looked lately but just did... Right you are =) I tend not to look at LSN because it makes me feel bad about myself for certain schools. It's like a little mean devil on my shoulder. good luck!

Don't wanna jinx anyone but is there any chance they will just accept Campagnolo, emcoast32, take two, and me , similar to the amazing 'tom in ohio'?? with no interview. Or maybe I am reading into the status changes /dates a little too much and being overly optimistic

I really wish they sent emails and not just snail mail. If you guys get an acceptance next week, with similar dates as me, I will be freaking out since I will be visiting family on the east coast all week, in DC ironically

If you're in DC, just go darken the door of the admissions office and demand a big packet. That'll work, amiright?

I was admitted without an interview. Submitted 10/25, got the in the mail letter 11/7.

I doubt that there are a lot of Georgetown JDs in my area to interview, though.

intuition would lead one to believe that interviews are for borderline candidates. if your stats are above/at both medians, you're probably not gonna need an interview to get in

Yeah, I'm slightly above both medians but I still got the interview invitation. I think it probably has to do with my three LSATs and a huge gap between the scores of the first two and my most recent examination.

I got an interview invite too...It's exciting as GT is a huge reach for me (and probably my top choice) but then again I'm not a very traditional applicant so they might want to address that in an interview.

I assume its based off of proximity to school or alumni, but I'm not sure. Also, didn't people get in without being offered an interview?

I am not sure how important stats are for updating dates. Mine has updated a couple times under Application Completed (11/14 most recently) and my numbers are pretty wretched for GT.

Pretty sure everyone who has gotten in has not had an interview.

But they are doing skype interviews for some people, so distance probably isn't a deciding factor.

Well, I feel that it is a good thing, as in they are passing around your app because it is at least a contender. When I have not moved since 10/11, and everyone is getting acceptances (even those that applied a month after me) and date changes... That means my app is sitting in a trash can haha
