Sooo I submitted early November and went complete later in the month... think they're going by submit or complete date so I can appropriately gauge my anxiety??
PS- Congratulations all!

Crazy how I'm getting irrationally nervous even though there's no bad outcome for me. Then again, waiting and uncertainty both suck and when the two of them come together, it's the worst. So, yeah...
You've already been accepted to HLS, you have absolutely nothing to worry about!!!

That's my point! There's no rational reason for me to get anxious about anything else application related from here on out, but that's not stopping me from doing so anyway. I should probably just conclude that I'm insane and move on.
ETA: Don't want to distract this thread from the good news - congratulations everybody!

So my fall semester grades just came out and my GPA got a .05 boost, which puts me about their GPA median (was just below before). Should I send grades straight to them? I have already ordered a transcript to go to LSAC but I don't know if they need to ask to be updated. The other issue is that my school GPA is lower than my LSAC GPA by about .05 so with an unprocessed transcript, its not obvious that my GPA increased significantly. If it matters, my LSAT is just above their median. Thanks for your thoughts.

A word to assuage people who applied earlier and haven't heard back -- Stanford is much less systematic about going by completion date than some schools. I'm at SLS now, and I applied very late (late December) and was in by early February. Many people I know applied earlier and got in later. So it's not that you are destined for WL/Deny if people who applied later than you have been accepted.

Apparently my neuroses were misplaced. Just got the call from Dean Deal (nicest person on the planet, btw)! I'm stunned and so, so thrilled. Wow.

Finally complete and under review (the dean's cert must have gotten held up in the mail somewhere), good luck everyone, and congrats to those who have gotten in.

For some reason it took like a month for my statement of the dean form to get processed so I only just went complete 1/6... Wow.
Apparently no one has gotten into SLS from my university in three years though, so with subpar stats I don't exactly have high hopes anyway...

Same happened to me with my statement and I was updated to complete on the sixth. Hopefully they received and started reviewing earlier but didn't update because of the break.here's to hoping!

I looked around but couldn't find the answer to this. Do I get kicked to the end of the line if I submit an updated transcript? My application was submitted on 11/20 originally, so I figure they must have at least opened it by now.

I'M INNNNNN!

So excited! Received a missed called from a 650 area code and almost couldn't believe it. Thank goodness there was an email to confirm! Hopefully there are more calls going out today.

Same thing happened to me, I thought I read in this thread that their office was closed for much of the holidays, which could explain why it took a while for the letter to be processed. Does anyone know if the status checker changes from "submitted for committee review" to "under review"? Thanks.

Congratulations! I also have these dates, so I'll hope for a bit of good news today (even though a call from Ms. Deal is the last thing I expect).

I just submitted my application - 168 LSAT + 4.08 (= 3.79 American) GPA from a Canadian school... I really wonder if I'll make it in! I can't wait to know as it is my first choice.

So if we've been passed over for this first round, should we be expecting a ding/WL? Or does Stanford go back to earlier applicants at some point?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
