I got a fortune cookie today at lunch that prophesied, "You will be receiving good news soon," so naturally I expected a call this afternoon. The silence over here is definitely undermining my already precarious faith in fortune cookies.

I wish my fortune cookie said that. I got one from my bank, and the fortune said, "Confucius say: ask your teller about savings accounts!" :roll:

Re: the silence. While I won't be overjoyed with the rejection I might (will likely!) get, I think I can say that a decision one way or another will come as some relief. With a decision from Yale and information about money from a couple of more schools I will have all the information I need to make a decision and I will finally be able to begin planning for next year.

Thanks. Also, for the sake of managing future anxiety, it seems like the calls have been coming very late in the afternoon. Blessed people, can you confirm?
