1/20. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for them. I can not imagine being complete since September. Geez.

Yeah! I guess I should just withdraw, but I'm so curious about what they'll do after such a long review. Probably waitlist me.

Re: SMU 2012
It would be much appreciated if you withdrew so that the chances for those of us who would actually like to attend to be accepted would be a bit better.....sarahmargie wrote:apeopleshistory wrote:We don't feel sorry for sarahmargie ITT. Withdraw and tell them you want your seat to specifically go to Titleist from TLS.sarahmargie wrote:apeopleshistory wrote:We don't feel sorry for sarahmargie ITT. Well, all right. I'll withdraw tomorrow. I shouldn't stay in the applicant pool out of curiosity. Sorry. I got in to UT off the waitlist, so somebody must have withdrawn early for me.

Re: SMU 2012
Or keep your application w/ SMU and give me your UT admittance.
This is possible right?

Re: SMU 2012
the fact that SMU is taking so long to notify us (completed 12/5) is making me feel like i don't even want to go there- Baylor told me within 6 weeks of applying with scholarship. a little consideration would be nice...

Re: SMU 2012
Most schools have a first deposit date of/around April 1 for those that were admitted in the "first round." I have friends who were recently (past week or so) admitted to several schools that I was also admitted to (in january and february) and they have much later deposit dates. Hope this eases some of the nerves.Oftranch wrote:+1 especially when you have to put down deposits by April 1

I feel like we are all going down on the Titanic together- our fate is inevitable, except for a lucky few.apeopleshistory wrote:We're all getting WL'd.
Question is- even all of us who will be WL'd, is it possible to receive scholarship once we are taken off of WL?
SMU acceptance without a scholarship is pointless in my book. Way too expensive.

Re: SMU 2012
Just got off the phone with admissions. They said a group of decisions should be coming out soon however they couldn't guarantee that it would be before April 1rst when many seat deposits are due. They told me the same thing as an earlier poster to go ahead and pay the deposit for the other school. Let's hope they decide before the first so I don't have to potentially waste $500 that I don't really have.

Pay the SMU deposit? How can we pay the deposit if we have not been accepted?
Or do you/they mean pay another schools deposit just to be safe?

SMU means pay the deposit from where s/he was accepted to ensure s/he can actually attend law school next year.
