I'm in the middle of a meeting (which you can tell I am giving my undivided attention), getting a call from 617-353-2000 –– a quick Google search tells me this is BU's campus security line.

Is this the number people are getting a call from?

EDIT: Also, is it me or are these phone calls sort of awkward? I didn't really know what to say. I was a bit stunned and it was just kind of...weird I guess. Do you yell in joy? Do you just say thanks? Do you ask them how everything is going?

If I put it as a contact, I'd name it OMG ITS BU.

I wonder if there's any method to their calling? Perhaps by last names? Does everyone who was accepted today have a last name starting with an early alphabet letter? Like A-F?

I'm 2nd Half of alph for first and last. It most likely just has to do with dates, and how things got batched together by the adcom for review.

And no scholly info, not that I'm likely to get one anyway, but it probably comes via admit pack.

Haha, that does make me feel better. I would love if I got into BC. I guess we'll see what happens. People with our numbers have gotten into BU, but they had very strong undergrad schools.
