Re: Texas 2011 Applicants
So I asked this over a week ago and got no response: is anyone who submitted ED ~10/20 still without a decision?

I don't think you made the ED cutoff. Wasn't it 11/1?whitman wrote:So I asked this over a week ago and got no response: is anyone who submitted ED ~11/20 still without a decision?

Re: Texas 2011 Applicants
Has anyone else who was admitted around Thanksgiving gotten (or not gotten) schollie letters? It seems that all LSN data from last year for UT admits with my #s got at least 76,500, but I haven't gotten anything yet. My softs/PS are pretty great too (I'm out arguably out-performing my numbers so far, given quickness of decisions from certain schools at which my #s aren't particularly impressive), so I can't imagine I'd get nothing from them. Nonetheless, tomorrow is two weeks since admission.

My bad 10/20, not 11/20.

Just wondering- how long does it usually take UT to send out a status checker after the "App received" e-mail? It's been a couple of weeks.

I submitted 10/15 and still haven't gotten a decision... I mean, I was held but that's not a decision... I'm in-state if that matters.whitman wrote:So I asked this over a week ago and got no response: is anyone who submitted ED ~10/20 still without a decision?

Re: Texas 2011 Applicants
Anyone know what exactly their scholarship floor is? I expect to go from a 3.4x to a 3.5x after this semesters grades and other OOS accepts with my LSAT and 3.6+ GPA's have in-state tuition waivers + $50k+ offers.

It's 3.6+ AND 168+, at least for OOS. Might be different for in state.BeachedBrit wrote:Anyone know what exactly their scholarship floor is? Also -- did your status change on the status checker?
No, I'm in state. Born and raised.
Yes, my status checker changed to "application has been denied."

Same thought! Admitted before Thanksgiving, expecting money but heard nothing yet.forward21 wrote:Has anyone else who was admitted around Thanksgiving gotten (or not gotten) schollie letters? On a different note...
I was in Austin a few weeks ago, and I ended up seeing the famous bum known as Leslie. He's a homeless guy who has fake tits. Congrats to everyone who has received admission and plans on attending. Keep it wierd next year.

Have any TX residents that got held from EA get rejected in RD already?

Just got my scholarship offer. $9500 per year. About 1/3rd tuition. I'm a little disappointed since most people with my numbers got 3 times as much last year.

Re: Texas 2011 Applicants
Are you in TX? I think there's a big difference btwn the amount shown for resident's and out-of-stater's on LSN because of the out of state tuition waiver. I got $9500 scholarship, but also got out-of-state tuition waived which makes my total way more than $28,500. But really our bottom line will be the same.Burgstaller04 wrote:Just got my scholarship offer. $9500 per year. About 1/3rd tuition. Hmm I wonder when OOS regular decisions will start coming up. Submitted 11/05, so I just missed ED, but complete as of 11/19.

Crap. I didn't even think about that. I am in state. That totally makes sense.rupret1 wrote:Are you in TX? Yep same for me- I got 9700 a year + in state tuition, so the total came to about 75,000 in savings compared to out of state sticker price.Burgstaller04 wrote:Crap. I didn't even think about that. I know I posted this last week, but any OOS RD's hear back? I did a scan of LSN but even from those who submitted past 11/1 who were accepted, I can't tell who's OOS and who's in-state.

I was OOS RD. I submitted sometime during the first week of November and I got a call just before Thanksgiving.T6Hopeful wrote:I know I posted this last week, but any OOS RD's hear back? I'm getting the feeling I'm the only EDer left. And I doubt that's a positive thing.
