my In Review date changed two days ago (12/28). Does that mean they're working this week?

They are indeed working this week. Busy little bees. Remaining ED decisions will be released today, and RDs should begin to hear back next week.

It appears that one point on the LSAT was the difference between rejection (me) and acceptance (some people who were accepted in the ED thread).

UVA but i'm not sure what kind of shot you'd have at that...

Duke's round 2 ED is still open also I believe.

Anyone heard anything from Chicago about WL?

So sorry to those who just got dinged. It's definitely a sad moment. There are a lot of other schools out there and your numbers are strong, so go for it! I'm afraid I know nothing about the ED process at other places (or at UC).

So it looks like i need to switch from UChi ED to this thread. anyone have an idea how this situation works?

these updates, by the way, to everyone wondering whether they represent a bad omen or sign of light, just mean a decision has been rendered. read into them no further, and save yourself the anxiety caused by doing so. we, the EDers, did the same, and those who were admitted, denied, or waitlisted, were updated in no particular order.

just some thoughtful advice. i wish you all the best.

Since I was one of those with a 12/17 update I am now particularly nervous to hear that my fate at UChicago has already been decided. Sound advice though - the GULC thread has made analyzing status dates into a science/an art, and I would hate to go through this again for another school.

Does anyone know if they will release decisions in a batch? Like everyone who applied before a certain time will get some kind of decision? Or is it just some initial auto admit people and rejects?
