Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Holy Guacamole... JS2!!!!
Complete around Jan... JS1 2 weeks ago... and now this.
I honestly did NOT think I had a chance in the WORLD.
Thank you all on this site for your awesome help. (Someone had written earlier on this site that if they got accepted at HLS, they would run until fail upon finding out. I thought that was a cool idea, so when I found out, I tried doing that. I lasted all of like 10 minutes haha and ended up in the middle of a muddy field)
Also -- can someone please explain to me why I am still working on these essays due Monday
See y'alls at HLS betchessssssss (but really, hi to everyone who got in - good luck to everyone who hasn't yet - trust me, you never know!)
GPA: 3.99
LSAT: 169 but had to write twice (163 first time)
ECs: strong. Nothing incredible, but they were genuine and made for a coherent narrative.

Congrats Wert. Good news coming all around.wert3813 wrote:Kb 1 on march 1st. The call was probably about thirty minutes ago. Im on a road trip with limited service so we played a bit of phone tag. My guess is calls are probably done.PRgradBYU wrote:Congrats on all the JS2s!!! Wert, when was your JS1 again?
My girlfriend asked me who I was going to tell first my parents or my "chatroom friends". There was no question.
Thanks for all the congrats, carbon is right, I did want this a lot. To those of you still waiting try and keep the faith, and I know how hard that is after sitting through last Monday.

Another lurker JS2, called tonight around 7.
4.11, 177
Sent: 1/21
Complete: 2/07
JS1: 2/12
So glad the month and a half of silence is over. I had to force myself to stop checking TLS. Moving from Boston isn't really an option for me, so it was HLS or BU/BC. Nothing against those other two, but I sure am glad I got into HLS...

Gratz to all the admits. Seems like the majority with radio silence got their updates and next waves will be primarily for held applicants ..

sorry guys, I have been drinking non-stop since getting off the phone with JS.....
best feeling in the world and truly a dream come true. Never let cynical sourpusses (like that AZ guy) tell you there is no hope for holds or serial retakers - they're full of it
C-167-171, 4

1/15 complete
2/8 JS1
2/22 held
3/29 JS2
(also just might be just the alcohol speaking but did any other admits today get an email or any sort of official indication? i've woken up from this dream many times before...

And no. And on the phone JS said they were going to email everything on Monday. They made a run on above median GPAs today.

Um amazing. Though you sometimes make me super anxious about very trivial admissions-related things, I am so happy for you. Congratulationsaz21833 wrote:sorry guys, I have been drinking non-stop since getting off the phone with JS.....![]()

Hey everyone, just for kicks go look at the chicago thread where az was nice enough to pretend like there was a chance in hell he isn't just going to harvard.
Congrats again, my super anal anxious friend.

People don't realize this because he has made it seem like he has had a terrible cycle but az is a yale acceptance away from going pacifica on all our asses.ph5354a wrote:Part of me wants to go back and find the post where Az claimed he wasn't getting into Columbia...![]()

Lol, not quite. But only because he was nice enough to withdraw from Cornell.wert3813 wrote:People don't realize this because he has made it seem like he has had a terrible cycle but az is a yale acceptance away from going pacifica on all our asses.

AZ got in!!!!! That made my day, one it forces Az to forever abandon his pessimistic ways and it allows me to think of Az again without hearing "life's a bitch and then you die" ringing in my head.
