Think we(you) are heading for the WL? Your LSAT is well above 75% and GPA is around 25%...To me that seems like admit material, Especially since we have seen a lot of similar GPA lower LSAT admits. Not accepted yet, complete email 1/19. 169/3.4x

Nice numbers Card. You going to take Vandy or wait out Duke?

Re: Emory 2010
Getting off Priority Reserve at Duke would be ideal, as it is close to both my parents and my SO's parents. But at this point, based on my acceptances so far, it is probably going to be a close call between Vandy and Michigan.Matteliszt wrote:Nice numbers Card. You going to take Vandy or wait out Duke?

In @ Emory today! They took their time but I got 60k out of it so I'm not complaining.
For all of those who might be wondering, I applied in November and went complete in early January. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

From looking at data from the last 3 years it looks like 165+ = in and 163-164/3.4+ = WL

Applied early January, complete 1/19, just got acceptances with 60k spread over 3 years. Package was postmarked 3/2, not sure when it got to my mailbox since I've been away for the past week.

~167 ~3.5. If you end up going to Emory Matteliszt (and if I do), we're rocking pianos. Seriously though, good luck with the rest of this cycle, Emory is taking its time this year.Matteliszt wrote:Do you mind posting your numbers? In @ Emory today! Woohoo! Someone gets the user-name! I seriously haven't played much at all this year, I would love to get into playing more.
On Topic: Bike you should seriously see if they considered the new LSAT. It makes 0 sense they dinged a 3.8/168 unless your PS was "I hate Emory"

Re: Emory 2010
Just got my acceptance package in the mail. In with $54K. Less than UIUC's offer and less than half of WUSTL's.
Did someone post awhile ago that Emory doesn't negotiate scholly offers?
Edit: Applied 1/31, complete 2/3.

Good to know the pianist community might be well represented at Emory! My Clavinova and vast Chopin collection will definitely be accompanying me wherever I end up, even though I know I'll have zero time to actually practice. Gotta get in shape now, I guess.Matteliszt wrote:Woohoo! Someone gets the user-name! I seriously haven't played much at all this year, I would love to get into playing more.we're rocking pianos

First off awesome avatar and username, philosophy, piano and law school. Sounds like the three of us have a lot in common. I am ready to start a finer things club (*fingers crossed we all love the Office as well)My Clavinova and vast Chopin collection will definitely be accompanying me wherever I end up, even though I know I'll have zero time to actually practice.
