Ummm wow that sucks. You need to call them ASAP.UTaylor526 wrote:No clue. I have a 164/3.74 also so I am really confused. I'm starting to become paranoid that they lost it...H. E. Dear W&M -
May we suggest a new set of status check codes for your review and consideration. The current set of status codes are worthless and provide no value added information.

Decision Rendered
Please remove "Decision Pending" from your lexicon. It instigates feelings of anxiety, and is only going to maximize phone calls to your admissions office checking on the status, when the entire point of a status checker is to alleviate pressure on the admissions office.

Re: William & Mary
No UTaylor seriously needs to call them. I have called them before, and they are very nice and understanding people. His decision may have gotten lost in the mail. There is no shame in being concerned about the status of your app.ntzsch wrote: I assume sarcasm, but am still uneasy with this.

For those of you who have been accepted, how long did it take for your packet to arrive after it showed up on the status checker?

I got in the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and it came on Black Friday. I live 30 mins. away so it was the holiday that made it take so long.anniesaysrelax wrote:For those of you who have been accepted, how long did it take for your packet to arrive after it showed up on the status checker?

Are they planning on doing another release today or is that simply a general hope?H. E. Pennypacker wrote:Good luck to everyone hoping to get good news today!

General hope. I've been decision pending since 11/23 so who knows when they'll finally let me know, either the good or the bad.

Just an FYI for all interested. I did call yesterday (decision pending since 10/27) but only got the voice mail. Despite their promise to return all calls, I haven't heard back yet.

In via snail mail today w/ $10,000/year provided I keep a 2.0 average. Huh, I just checked my status checker for the first time in a week and apparently it had been updated on 12/01 w/ a "congratulations" message.
