May we suggest a new set of status check codes for your review and consideration. The current set of status codes are worthless and provide no value added information.

Decision Rendered

Please remove "Decision Pending" from your lexicon. It instigates feelings of anxiety, and is only going to maximize phone calls to your admissions office checking on the status, when the entire point of a status checker is to alleviate pressure on the admissions office.

I got in the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and it came on Black Friday. I live 30 mins. away so it was the holiday that made it take so long.

Just an FYI for all interested. I did call yesterday (decision pending since 10/27) but only got the voice mail. Despite their promise to return all calls, I haven't heard back yet.

In via snail mail today w/ $10,000/year provided I keep a 2.0 average. Huh, I just checked my status checker for the first time in a week and apparently it had been updated on 12/01 w/ a "congratulations" message.
