I think they add the slots gradually, but that empty week of 12-15 (?) might be a sign . You also cannot see a slot once it's taken, so maybe there were more slots on the 19th?

I received an invite about a week ago. By the time i check for slots all the suitable ones are taken, and the only available ones have a travel conflict. Are they going to open more for next week? Week after?

I guess email responses may take an non determinate time and these little questions may be added to file but not sure if it matters. Wonder if calling is better, anyone has experience calling them for sth like this? Thanks.

I doubt they'd hold something that insignificant against you

Platopus, I can't thank you enough for all the posting that you do! Lol. I definitely do enjoy your reassurance. I sent them a follow-up email saying, "please excuse any spelling errors in the previous email."

you should be fine, no reason they care about such typos. on that note, i'm not sure if they add every query email to the file or not?
I think if some sent an email that contained an updated resume then only the resume would go to the file (and the cover email or some other query email would not and be discarded).

Hah so sorry i didnt mean to leave a cliffhanger. my wifi connection was working up earlier today.

but yall have basically read my mind. that lone green day on the 19th has been there for a while. makes me think the first wave of JS2s will be on that date. which would also make sense given that last year's JS2s were also around that time.

I believe you're almost right, but I think it should be the 18th (that Monday). Based on years past, it's always the Monday of that week.

I believe you're almost right, but I think it should be the 18th (that Monday). Based on years past, it's always the Monday of that week.

Any speculation on the JS1 waves that can expect to hear back?

If you look at last year, there were ~24 JS1 waves and 5 JS2. So, presumably, the first five JS1 waves will likely hear in the first JS2 wave.
