Thanks! I submitted the first week of November. Interviewed a week or two after that.

GPA between median and 75
LSAT between 25 and median.

Same here...I missed the deadline because I hadn't originally planned on applying to Vandy, and I'm wondering how much not doing an interview will screw me over.

I don't think not doing an interview is a dealbreaker but doing one definitely is beneficial. I actually did my interview directly with an admissions officer and he told me that the interview definitely will help with admisions.

FYI I applied after the interview deadline last cycle and was waitlisted. Was accepted this year after interviewing without retaking LSAT.

The law school is nothing fancy. Campus is pretty nice, but I don't find myself going through it too much (law school is in the northeast corner of campus).

I like it. The area by the law school is alright and there's a fair amount of bars, but I rarely find myself there. There's a chipolte, panera, starbucks (go down to JJ's cafe for your coffee fix, though), subway, qdoba, some taco place (pretty good but I forget the name) immediately by the school.

Nashville in general is great, though. Lots of fun neighborhoods, music venues, cafes and restaurants. The area (midtown/west end/hillsboro village) around campus is also pretty safe. I find myself out late at night often and never feel unsafe.

Does anyone know if it's possible (or even likely) to get a summer gig in Nashville? Wouldn't want to be away from my S.O. too long during an associate job.

There are great bars in walking distance, in generally every direction surrounding the campus, and the campus itself is charming. The law school building has decent views of the other parts of campus. Nashville has good food, good bars, and a great live music scene, plus two pro sports teams. All in all, it's fuego.

Fips nailed it. Nashville is great, and so far I'm really liking Vanderbilt. The professors are wonderful and student body is very sociable/chill.

Vanderbilt is in a great part of Nashville. I went to undergrad there for a while. The campus is beautiful and is like a little green Vandy bubble inside Nashville. The law school is on a corner of campus, right across the street from a Ben & Jerry's and a few places to grab lunch, including SATCO (San Antonio Taco Company), one of my favorite taco places. The location is definitely appealing to me and a lot of Nashvillains.

I don't think anyone has received scholly info yet. They said we should expect it late February

Can confirm. No scholly info sent out yet. I expect it to show up around the same time as notifications on VLMSAs
