Been UR1 since 12/5. Does everyone go UR2 or does getting stuck at the first date usually mean a ding/WL?

Debating whether I shall ED 2 at Penn.
It is true that ED at Penn gives you a disadvantages in terms of scholarship, as comparing to some schools where how you applied has no bearing with scholarship?
I am an international applicant and splitter (<<25% GPA, >=75% LSAT), and I was also told that Penn (normally) does not give out scholarships during ED process....as comparing to Cornell where 90k+ is possible.
FYI, I have been Under Committee Review as of 12/5/2016.....no word for a whole month.
Thanks!!!

I'll take this as a lesson in patience. It's a virtue, right?

applying ED at ANY school pretty much guarantees you won't get a scholarship.pipipipi wrote:Debating whether I shall ED 2 at Penn.

Ucr2 yesterday! Would love penn. Feel like they'll be my first denial, though. Seem particularly splitter un-friendly.

Well, I know several people with similar scores from peers students receive 900k from T14, much more than other students admitted during RD.proteinshake wrote:applying ED at ANY school pretty much guarantees you won't get a scholarship.pipipipi wrote:Debating whether I shall ED 2 at Penn.

I looked at my app that I submitted almost two months ago, and realized I never indicated that I visited the campus. Is it worth emailing to add that as an addendum or no?

LOVE your screen name by the way. She and Donna Meagle are my favorite characters ever.
