To the posters that are reapplying, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. WUSTL adcomms are great and are very understanding that making the decision to go to law school is a big one and will not hold anything against you.
Is it pretty easy to transfer WUSTL to T14? What about the requirements?
It's totally grade dependant. Getting into a Georgetown or Michigan can be done from below median, though I'm not sure it's worth it if you are getting a lot of money here considering their job stats and the extra debt you would be taking on. Obviously the higher in the T14 you are looking to transfer, the better grades you'll need. I think we had 3 out of our class that transferred to Harvard, but they all had great grades.

Still haven't heard anything... :(

Just FYI, I'm 174/3.88.
They know you could reject them and go to Harvard so they're manoeuvring to head off your offensive.

I did mine by phone - very chill, rather short, mostly felt like they wanted to make sure I had a pulse and was capable of forming a sentence, not much more than that...
Have some questions about the school prepared, and answers to "why law"/"why WUSTL" ("why st louis" might come up as well...), but that's pretty much it.

Nothing to stress about, it's all very relaxed.
What about your numbers?

Congrats and good luck!
It seems the consensus is that an interview invite is tantamount to acceptance - so enjoy it! The interview is super casual, nothing to stress out about.
Really? Maybe this dedcution only applies for those numbers above 25 percentile. It's likely that the school just interview lots of below-25-percentiles in order to show its "holistic review" policy and reject them eventually.

Not from what I've read ITT and last year's. If you interview, you're basically in. My numbers are not spectacular, nor did I have a great interview (I'm nervous over the phone), but I was still accepted. If you interviewed and came across as a normal person, I wouldn't worry.

Does an interview invitation means basical acceptance?
Going by this thread it seems so, but I would think that those that interview and are accepted are more likely to post here than someone who interviewed and was dinged or waitlisted.

Interviewed yesterday by phone. Very pleasant conversation, they asked about my post-grad experience and how my military training would differentiate me from others in terms of my attitude towards law school. Hopefully I'll hear something soon! :D

Congrats! Your post is illuminating for me. I made an appointment of interview on 15th this month.

Mine also took a really long time although my stats are slightly lower. I submitted on 10/16, interviewed on 10/18 and I didn't get accepted until like 11/30. I also was waiting for rec letters to come in and they did invite me to interview before I had my rec letters in my file.

Technically WashU doesn't need rec letters to evaluate your file.

1L here. The interview is a relatively new addition to the admissions process here. Up until now, I haven't heard of a single person who was interviewed and then rejected or even wait listed. It's likely that at some point they will interview potential dings, but I still believe it's too early. An interview request should equal an acceptance.

I know everyone here says interview=admission, but I interviewed Dec 29 and still haven't heard back and I'm freaking out! :?

I had basically informally interviewed (per their request based on LSAT) before even submitting, and it took less than 24h b/w submission and interview request. And after the interview they told me again that they'd help me pay for travel if I wanted to visit which I thought was a good sign but still nothing! I might be fretting over nothing, but how long does it normally take for them to get back with admission decisions?

I interviewed on the 28th and didn't hear anything back until today. I'm sure they are just getting back into the swing of things after the holiday break.

That's good to hear, then there's hope :D did your status checker change before you were notified or it still read 'under review'?

I applied 11/6 and then was asked to interview in less than 24 hours on 11/6. Interviewed 11/13, still have not heard back. I thought the interview went well and everything.

What gives?? I am so nervous!

I also interviewed 11/13 and haven't heard back... I'm a reverse splitter so I assume they are holding off for a long, long time to see what else they get through the cycle.

Interviewed mid-December and haven't heard anything back, so this is likely just a backlog. Has anyone been able to get onto the WashU status check? It hasn't loaded for me for a few weeks now.

I emailed them about this a few weeks back and they did something to fix it for me. You may want to ask them.

Think I figured it out. The status check link on this part of their (old?) website is broken: https://law.wustl.edu/apply-transferstudents.asp This is what comes up when you search for their status check online, but I just realized it's for transfer students...

Got in on 12/29 via email but haven't heard any scholarship information yet. Can anyone give me any insight into how long after acceptance you heard anything back?
I heard they normally send out emails on Fridays, but last Friday was new years so maybe that's why I haven't heard anything?
